Our research lab conducts interdisciplinary social sciences research at the intersections of psychology, anthropology, sociology, gender studies, and clinical sciences. We employ diverse methodologies to explore a range of topics, with a particular focus on mental health of disadvantaged communities and their everyday experiences. Grounded in a feminist+queer perspectives, our work seeks to challenge existing biases and foster inclusivity in scientific inquiry. While we mostly engage in psychological sciences of genders and sexualities, we also conduct research projects in fields such as anthropology, sociology, literary studies, gender studies, trauma studies, and more.
We believe that representation in science is essential, and our mission is to contribute to a more equitable research landscape. By centering feminist and LGBTQIA+ perspectives, we aim to produce rigorous, impactful research that amplifies marginalized voices and advances social justice through an interdisciplinary lens.
